About Us

First of all, thank you for visiting our site!

We have been around a while. As a matter of fact, before there was anything called Raystown Lake. We have seen a lot of changes come along after the dam was built, not the least of which was a lot of sharp businesspeople finding needs and fulfilling them for both residents of the area and visitors to the region.

Although there are similar websites online, we have taken a bit of a different approach to our listings you will find here. Many of our businesses featured here are very small businesses that are run by folks with a skill set not found on other sites, but you may need when you visit, buy property here or have lived here a long time like we have.

Need a forester or land manager? A good produce farm to buy fresh goods in season? A seasoned handyman? A fantastic greenhouse? These types of businesses are listed and our mission here at Raystown.Net is to help you find them and promote their growth.

As time goes on, you will find other established businesses – restaurants, coffee shops, campgrounds, convenience stores and the like as well. It’s all about promoting small town America here in a great place known as Raystown Country. Find what you are looking for by category or with the use of our search bar.

Check back often as we will be adding new businesses all the time. Businesses and venues you will be sure to like as you get to know what they have to offer and the wonderful people that run them. Oh, and follow our Facebook page, raystown.net to keep up with new advertisers. You may find EXACTLY what you are looking for!

Once again, thank you for stopping by!
